Note: Experience in utility machines (boiler, generator, compressor, ETP, etc.) is strictly not required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Head of Maintenance to lead the maintenance function for garments production machinery.

Ensure maximum machine uptime, minimal downtime, and smooth production operations.

• Oversee maintenance operations for all garments machinery, including sewing, cutting, finishing and other garments- making machines.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimize breakdowns.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Manage and develop a team of technicians and engineers to ensure efficient maintenance support.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or replacements where necessary.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance logs, SOPs and compliance standards.
• Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Education:

• Diploma/BSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 20-23 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of garments machinery.

Required Skills

• At least 80-90% experience strictly in garments machines (sewing, cutting, finishing).
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to garments equipment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing maintenance teams in large-scale factories. Ability to handle high-pressure production environments and ensure quick problem resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Experience in ERP-based maintenance tracking is a plus
