On Behalf, seeking competent professionals for a leading RMG industry as Manager - LAB & Inspection

 

Job Title: Manager - LAB & Inspection

Location: Tongi (Factory/Industrial Area)

Salary Range (Monthly): BDT 60,000 – 70,000/-

 

The Manager of LAB & Inspection is responsible for overseeing all technical testing and quality audit processes. They ensure that fabrics, trims, and finished garments meet international standards and specific buyer requirements while maintaining lab certifications and lead times.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Supervision of various types of physical, chemical and colorfastness testing according to customer required (Sample fabric, Counter sample, Trims test, Bulk fabric, 1st TOD, Biggest TOD, Last TOD & Random test).
• To setup program of calibration schedule for laboratory machinery.
• Communication with all trims and fabric suppliers about product safety issue.
• Trained up the laboratory stuff and correlation with buyer.
• Create root cause against fail product and take proper corrective action.
• Follow Up and ensure proper corrective action plan of internal lab audit and correlation exercise as well as maintain the target time with all technical aspects.
• Managing and developing a team of laboratory staff and supervising to them for completing the testing on time and to the customer satisfaction.
• Test report review and sign and send to buyer's merchandiser.
• Generate testing report analysis record and send to buyer QAD.
• Mail communication with merchandiser & supplier for collect product test report, FTLD & grantee letter.
• Physical & chemical test risk factor evaluation.
• Create a risk assessment and send to the buyer.
• Develop and review new testing procedures and methods.
• Review the daily received sample and register the sample information in the record.
• Ensuring the test requisition and samples for testing.
• Attend various types of training & seminars on buyer end.
• Any other task given by the superior.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is a plus.

 Experience

 

• Proven experience (Minimum 06 years) in Lab/ Testing in the RMG/Textile or industrial sector.
