Job Description
Bevy Commerce is looking for meticulous and skilled QA Engineers to ensure our e-commerce solutions meet the highest quality standards. These roles require a solid understanding of software testing and a passion for improving customer experiences through error-free applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write and execute manual test cases to validate front-end functionality and design consistency.
- Ensure pixel-perfect alignment of front-end implementations with Figma designs by identifying and addressing discrepancies in layout, typography, and visual elements.
- Write and execute automated test cases as needed using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or other modern automation platforms.
- Validate visual and functional consistency, including layout, typography, and user interface elements.
- Debug software, log issues accurately, and provide timely feedback to developers for resolution.
- Conduct performance and responsiveness testing to ensure scalability and usability.
- Document issues with clear and detailed steps to reproduce, along with severity levels and current resolution states.
- Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product/project managers to ensure design fidelity and content accuracy.
- Use browser-specific development tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, etc) to identify and resolve front-end discrepancies.
- Oversee modern exploratory testing tools (e.g., TestRail, Bug Magnet) and drive their adoption within the team.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of front-end testing methodologies and techniques.
- Proficient in writing and implementing detailed manual and automated test cases.
- Expertise in validating front-end implementations for pixel-perfect alignment with Figma designs.
- Ability to identify and document inconsistencies in visual design, layout, and functionality.
- Hands-on experience with browser-specific tools such as Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, etc, for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to introduce and effectively use modern QA tools such as TestRail, and Bug Magnet.
- Experience with CRO tools such as HotJar, FullStory, Google Analytics, etc. would be considered a plus, to assist in testing and optimizing features and services post-launch.
- Solid knowledge of web-based applications and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to spot visual and functional flaws.
- Highly organized and analytical with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working during EST and CST office hours to coordinate with clients.
- Strong command of the English language is a MUST for effective communication.
