The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives for the ready mix concrete plant. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, promoting products, and executing marketing strategies to expand the customer base. The Sales & Marketing Executive will work closely with the production and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete products, meet customer requirements, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
- Generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions in the form of ready-mix concrete products.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, including contractors, builders, and construction firms.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for business growth.
- Analyze customer feedback and industry trends to adapt marketing and sales strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Marketing & Promotional Activities:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the ready-mix concrete products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including brochures, advertisements, and digital content.
- Promote the company’s brand and products through digital marketing, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
- Organize and participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and seminars to increase brand visibility.
- Maintain and update the company’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Ensure that all client requirements, including technical specifications and delivery timelines, are met.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with the products and services provided.
- Resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner to retain customer loyalty.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Track and report sales performance, including lead generation, conversions, and revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales transactions, and business proposals.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales targets, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
Collaboration with Operations:
- Work closely with the operations and production teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure that the concrete products are delivered to clients as per the agreed timelines and specifications.
- Assist in preparing quotes, bids, and tenders for new projects or customer inquiries.
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts and plans based on market analysis and customer demand.
- Help implement sales strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in marketing is a plus.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction, building materials, or ready-mix concrete industry.
