Jobs Responsibilities
- We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as a Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager for Fixed Assets. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the organization`s fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking, recording, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
- Maintain an accurate fixed assets register, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
- Conduct regular physical verifications to ensure alignment with records.
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization expenses.
- Monitor changes in useful life and impairment of fixed assets.
- Collaborate with departments for analysis of proposed capital expenditures.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for capital investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls for safeguarding fixed assets.
- Prepare reports on fixed asset status, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
- Identify process improvement opportunities for fixed assets management.
- Implement best practices for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of fixed asset transactions and related agreements.
- Organize and manage electronic and physical records related to fixed assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate recording of fixed asset transactions.
- Work closely with the finance team to integrate fixed asset information into financial statements.
