Abdul Kadir Molla International School (AKMIS) has been established in 2013 by Mr. Abdul Kadir Molla, Managing Director of Thermax Group Limited as a non-profit organization. This school is run by the support of Mazid Molla Foundation. Mr. Abdul Kadir Molla is the founder Chairman of Mazid Molla Foundation. Abdul Kadir Molla International School offers education through two international curriculums from Nursery to Grade 12. AKMIS is an IB World School (IB School Code: 060139) which is authorized to offer Primary Years Programme (PYP). AKMIS is also a Cambridge Associate School (Cambridge International School Number: BD070) to offer O Level, IGCSE and AS/A Level programmes. AKMIS is inviting application from the qualified and interested candidates for the above-mentioned position.

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching students based on IB curriculum guidelines within your specialist subject areas.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons.
• Encouraging student participation in lessons and in other school-related activities.
• Supporting the leadership team to implement the school's development plan.
• Assessing and reporting on the behavior of students.
• Providing educational and social guidance to students and/or signposting them to specialist areas of advice when needed.
• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and applying the most up-to-date teaching methods.
• Taking part in opportunities to boost your own learning and continuous professional development (CPD).
• Attending and taking part in staff meetings to support the smooth running and administration of the school.
• Collaborating with parents, careers, guardians, support workers, and other professionals to safeguard and ensure the educational welfare of statement students who may have special educational needs (SEN).

• Master of Arts (MA) in Bengali
• University of Dhaka,Jahangirnagar University,University of Chittagong,Rajshahi University,Shahjalal University of Science & Technology students will get preference

Additional Requirements

• A good command in English Language is essential.
• Enthusiastic and sympathetic attitude towards young children.
• Goal oriented and can handle jobs under pressure.
• Must have the skill of using MS Office and G Suite.
