Educational Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 20 Years of Total experience including at least 15 Years in design/construction of foundation of bridges/hydraulic structures – jetty/terminal building structures.

Job Description:

• Lead and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, training, and support.
• Oversee and conduct geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, drilling programs, soil and rock sampling, and laboratory testing to evaluate subsurface conditions.
• Analyze and interpret geotechnical data to assess soil properties, rock mechanics, groundwater conditions, and potential risks associated with the project.
• Perform advanced geotechnical analyses, such as slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, bearing capacity analysis, and seismic design considerations.
• Develop geotechnical design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, embankments, and other relevant infrastructure elements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into overall project design, planning, and execution.
• Review and approve technical reports, drawings, and calculations prepared by junior engineers and technicians.
• Provide expert input during project meetings, presentations, and discussions with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in geotechnical engineering to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all aspects of geotechnical work.
• Assist in project proposal development, scope definition, and budget estimation
