Job Description
Bevy Commerce is seeking experienced Senior QA Engineers and QA Lead Engineers to lead our quality assurance initiatives. These roles involve not only hands-on testing but also mentoring teams and shaping testing strategies to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for our global e-commerce clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow comprehensive manual test strategies to validate front-end functionality and design.
- Refine existing QA team Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) and contribute to developing new SOPs for other QA processes.
- Ensure pixel-perfect alignment of front-end implementations with Figma designs, meticulously reviewing visual and functional elements.
- Conduct performance and responsiveness testing to validate scalability and user experience.
- Write and execute automated test cases as needed using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or other modern automation platforms.
- Debug complex issues and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.
- Define and monitor key quality metrics and KPIs for projects.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, promoting best practices.
- Be diligent enough to work with our high valued clients and ensure their products are properly tested before releasing them to millions of users worldwide.
- Oversee defect identification, logging, and resolution across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with product/project managers and developers to ensure all requirements are thoroughly tested and validated.
- Use browser-specific development tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, etc) to identify and resolve front-end discrepancies.
- Oversee modern exploratory testing tools (e.g., TestRail, Bug Magnet) and drive their adoption within the team.
Job Requirements:
- Senior QA Engineer: Minimum 4+ years in software testing and quality assurance.
- QA Lead Engineer: Minimum 6+ years, including leadership or team management roles.
- Strong understanding of front-end testing methodologies and techniques.
- Proficient in writing and implementing detailed manual and automated test cases.
- Expertise in validating front-end implementations for pixel-perfect alignment with Figma designs.
- Ability to identify and document inconsistencies in visual design, layout, and functionality.
- Solid knowledge of web-based applications and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Keen attention to detail with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to optimize testing strategies and SOPs.
- Hands-on experience with browser-specific tools such as Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, etc., for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to introduce and effectively use modern QA tools such as TestRail and Bug Magnet.
- Experience with CRO tools (e.g., HotJar, FullStory, Google Analytics) is a plus, for testing and optimizing post-launch features.
- Must stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and tools.
- Comfortable working during EST and CST office hours to coordinate with clients.
- Strong command of English for effective communication.
- Candidates with a UI/UX design background will be given preference.
- Proven track record of leading teams and promoting best practices (mandatory for QA Lead role).
